The Erriff River flows gently between one of the last original Irish Thatched cottages and the main road to Leenane, Connemara. Each stone in the wall was placed there by some man's hands, long since gone, and will survive wind and rain for generations to come. The unique blend of colours in this photograph are typical of the West of Ireland.
